The University of Oregon is committed to providing a safe and supportive learning and working environment for the campus community. One way the ombuds program supports this commitment is through Ask the O, an anonymous* question and answer venue to address your campus concerns.

To assure a safe and welcoming tone for the service, we may edit your question prior to posting. We may also elect to address your question without posting. We hope to build a tone of inclusion, candor, and academic freedom and hope that you will help us maintain the spirit of the service by remaining respectful and professional.

Ask the O is a venue to address general university related questions, if you have a more personal concern please contact our office by phone to set up a meeting (541) 346-6400. 

By submitting a question you agree that it may be published for public view. Once you have submitted your question the ombudsperson will follow up with the appropriate University officials to get your question answered. Please give us seven to ten business days to post a response to your question. In rare instances, we may require more time to collect the information necessary to provide the answer to your question. 

*We will not collect or maintain information that will identify you as the source of the inquiry.
